IMPACTS

Making a difference

During the internship, I actively participated in making and suggesting design decisions, creating design alternatives for improvement, and providing constructive feedback for designs by CBN and some sister companies.

Improved their web and app accessibility

Implementing WCAG 2.2 rules to make the platforms accessible for everyone

Enhanced visual appeal

Aligning visuals with stakeholder needs and current trends

A more consistent design system

Keeping consistency over elements throughout their web and app

INTERNSHIP takeaways

Corporate design is not merely designing based on visual

Something that I picked up on by working at CBN is that designing in a corporate company challenges your creativity, decision-making, and teamwork. Even though there might be ideas that visually would be awesome, there might be limitations based on the views of other teams and main stakeholders. Hence, we should think about stakeholders, factors and aspects that would help the business to grow.
